WHERE IS THE TOWN?

Licola Wilderness Village
Heyfield-Jamieson Rd, Licola VIC 3858
Licola is a beautiful secluded village, tucked in a valley beside the Macalister River, 254 kilometres east of Melbourne.
The township of Licola is owned entirely by the Lions Clubs of Victoria and Southern New South Wales. It is the only privately owned town in Victoria and the only one not on mains power. Even more amazingly it has plans to convert 95 percent of it’s power to Sustainable energy in the next year! The town generates its own power, pumps and treats its own water and is responsible for its waste management.
The town has a General Store where you can buy ice, fuel, groceries, maps and other things. Please support them over the weekend. It also has a caravan where camper-vans can stay, or those seeking a quieter spot right next to the festival.
